Robin Brown along with his wife Anna Cirronis, started the Erbaviva line in 1996 as a way to offer mommies-to-be and babies upscale products completely free from all harsh detergents, chemical fragrances, and other unhealthy additives. The products are made using use the purest, highest grade organic ingredients and essential oils it is possible to find. Uniquely and beautifully packaged they are brought to you in a sophisticated form that honours the way nature created them.

Since the company was founded in 1996, they have been part of a project that helps fund the Pwo Karen hill tribe of Northern Thailand and Burma. The project runs a health clinic for the hill tribe children and assists villagers to transition from "slash and burn" agricultural practices to growing permanent, sustainable farms. All purchases for the fabric packaging and basketry of their products are through this project, having a direct financial benefit to the tribe.
